GOLDTOMB is a modular backdoor associated with FIN11 and the threat cluster UNC5936. It was deployed alongside the GOLDVEIN downloader during mass exploitation of unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerabilities in Cleo managed file transfer products in late 2024, including LexiCom, VLTrader, and Harmony. The toolkit supported post-exploitation data-theft operations targeting sensitive enterprise information, including trade, manufacturing, and shipping records handled through managed file transfer systems. GOLDTOMB includes a command-line interface module with code overlaps observed in payloads used in subsequent Oracle E-Business Suite attacks; those overlaps do not establish deployment of GOLDTOMB itself in the Oracle campaign.
