CVE-2026-93519 is a buffer overflow in the XFixes Pointer Barrier event list in X.Org Server and Xwayland. Input_constrain_cursor() writes barrier events into a fixed-size buffer without checking bounds. With more than 100 active pointer barriers, these writes overflow a stack or heap buffer. An authenticated X client can trigger the flaw by creating the barriers through XFIXES and generating pointer motion events, for example through XTEST. The vulnerability affects releases before xorg-server 21.1.25 and Xwayland 24.1.14.
