CVE-2026-58231 is a critical vulnerability in SAP Commerce Cloud's Data Hub Adapter affecting COM_CLOUD 2211 and 2211-JDK21. The issue arises from insufficient authorization checks combined with inadequate input validation. An unauthenticated attacker can abuse a default authentication client to reach certain functions and submit specially crafted input to code paths that do not sufficiently validate it. Successful exploitation can result in arbitrary code execution within the affected application context and compromise internal Commerce Cloud components. Public reporting also characterizes the flaw as an improper authorization issue that enables authentication bypass conditions leading to code injection and remote code execution.
