CVE-2026-51990 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Tencent Sogou Input Method for Windows before version 16.3.0.3498. The sg_process handler for the custom sgbiz protocol validates the requested component but fails to validate user-controlled command-line arguments. A crafted link can launch the configuration application's skin-marketplace webview and navigate it to an attacker-controlled destination without validating the URL scheme or destination. The observed exploit chain then exploits CVE-2021-38003 in the embedded Chromium 80 engine to execute arbitrary code. The embedded browser is generally described as running without sandboxing and with web-security protections disabled, although one account contradicts that configuration claim. UNC3569 actively exploited the vulnerability to deploy the GrayRabbit backdoor.

A remote arbitrary-code-execution vulnerability in the biz_helper.exe component of Sogou Input Method versions earlier than 16.3.0.3498.
A one-click remote-code-execution vulnerability chain in Sogou Input Method for Windows. Unsafe validation of protocol-handler command-line options allowed attackers to direct a Sogou component's embedded browser to an attacker-controlled page, leading to code execution as the signed-in user.
A vulnerability in Sogou Input Method's custom Windows protocol handling allows attacker-supplied command-line options to direct its embedded browser to a malicious page. Combined with an outdated, unsandboxed browser and a known V8 vulnerability, it enables one-click remote code execution with the signed-in user's permissions. UNC3569 actively used this chain to deploy GRAYRABBIT.
A critical one-click remote/system-level code-execution vulnerability in Tencent Sogou Input Method for Windows. The sgbiz protocol handler accepted unsanitized parameters that enabled command-line argument injection and arbitrary URL navigation; exploitation was compounded by an obsolete Chromium 80 engine with its sandbox and key browser protections disabled.
