CVE-2026-106108 is a path traversal vulnerability in Quasar Framework's @quasar/app-vite static site generation (SSG) builder. The builder fails to constrain generated page destinations to build.distDir. Custom page dir and filename values can escape the intended output directory through parent-directory traversal or existing symlinks. An attacker able to influence SSG page definitions or compromise build configuration can cause a subsequent SSG build to create HTML files and directories outside the output tree with the build user's permissions. Existing files are protected by the renderer's no-overwrite behavior.

An output-path validation vulnerability in Quasar Framework's @quasar/app-vite SSG builder affects versions from 3.1.0 up to, but not including, 3.3.0. Attacker-controlled page directory or filename values can use parent-directory traversal or existing symlinks to create HTML files and directories outside build.distDir with the build user's permissions. Exploitation requires influence over SSG page definitions or compromised build configuration; this is not normally a remote file-write primitive. Existing files are protected by the renderer's no-overwrite behavior. Version 3.3.0 fixes the issue. Mitigations include validating destinations against the real distribution directory, rejecting absolute and parent-traversing paths and file destinations equal to the output root, and checking existing ancestors after resolving symlinks.
A vulnerability affecting @quasar/app-vite, categorized under CWE-22 (path traversal). The advisory rates vendor severity as Medium and recommends updating to version 3.3.0 or later. It provides no detailed exploitation scenario and states that no known exploits are available.
