CVE-2025-48700 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite affecting the Classic UI in versions 8.8.15, 9.0, 10.0, and 10.1 prior to the vendor fixes. The flaw is caused by insufficient sanitization of attacker-controlled HTML content rendered in email messages, including crafted tag structures and attribute values that can leverage @import directives and related script injection vectors. When a victim views a specially crafted email in the Classic UI, arbitrary JavaScript executes in the context of that user’s authenticated webmail session. The issue is effectively a stored, message-borne XSS condition and has been described as zero-click in the sense that no interaction beyond opening or viewing the email in the vulnerable interface is required.
