CVE-2021-36380 is an unauthenticated operating system command injection vulnerability in Sunhillo SureLine surveillance data distribution software before version 8.7.0.1.1. Improper validation of the ipAddr and dnsAddr parameters in the network diagnostic CGI handler allows shell metacharacters to alter executed commands. Remote attackers can execute arbitrary commands with root privileges and establish an interactive remote shell. The vulnerability has been exploited in the wild, including in Mirai-based and ClingSTUN malware campaigns.
