CVE-2021-35395 encompasses stack-based buffer overflows and command-execution vulnerabilities in the HTTP management interfaces of Realtek Jungle SDK v2.x through v3.4.14B. Both the GoAhead-based and Boa-based implementations are affected. Unsafe parameter copying causes stack-based buffer overflows in formRebootCheck, formWsc, and formWlanMultipleAP through submit-url; formWlSiteSurvey through ifname; formStaticDHCP through hostname; and formWsc through peerPin. Additional issues allow arbitrary command execution through the sysCmd parameter in formSysCmd and command injection through peerPin in formWsc. Successful exploitation permits remote arbitrary code execution on the device. Exposure and authentication requirements vary with manufacturers' modifications and the functionality retained in their firmware.
