CVE-2021-20090 is a path traversal vulnerability in the web interfaces of Arcadyan-based routers that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to bypass authentication. Affected devices include Buffalo WSR-2533DHPL2 routers running firmware version 1.02 or earlier and WSR-2533DHP3 routers running firmware version 1.24 or earlier, as well as devices from multiple other vendors using affected Arcadyan-based firmware. Exploitation permits access to protected resources, disclosure of sensitive information, and modification of router configuration. Dark IoT botnet samples and the Matrix campaign have targeted this vulnerability.
