CVE-2017-17105 is an unauthenticated, blind remote command injection vulnerability in the CGI-based web interface of Zivif PR115-204-P-RS cameras running firmware V2.3.4.2103 or V4.7.4.2121. Intermediate versions may also be affected. A crafted URL parameter supplied to the IP-test CGI handler can trigger shell command execution, demonstrated by a command-substitution payload that reboots the camera. Zerobot 1.1 includes an exploit for this vulnerability.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (modules/exploits/unix/http/zivif_ipcheck_exec.rb) that exploits a remote command execution vulnerability (CVE-2017-17105) in Zivif webcams running firmware versions prior to and including v2.3.4.2103. The exploit targets the /cgi-bin/iptest.cgi HTTP endpoint, injecting arbitrary shell commands via the '-url' GET parameter. The module is operational and allows the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the target device. The code is written in Ruby and leverages the Metasploit framework's HttpClient mixin. The exploit is network-based and requires the attacker to have network access to the vulnerable device. The repository is structured as a typical Metasploit module, with all logic contained in a single file.
