CVE-2016-15047 is an authenticated operating-system command-injection vulnerability affecting AVTECH IP cameras, NVRs, and DVRs that expose the cloud setup management endpoint. The endpoint passes the exefile parameter to system command execution without adequate validation or whitelisting. An authenticated attacker can submit crafted input to execute arbitrary commands as root and fully compromise the device. An affected firmware version range has not been established.
