CVE-2007-3010 is a remote command execution vulnerability in masterCGI within the Unified Maintenance Tool of Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server R7.1 and earlier. During the ping action, the application fails to properly sanitize the user-supplied user parameter before passing it to a shell context. An attacker can inject shell metacharacters into that parameter, causing unintended operating system commands to be executed by the vulnerable component.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module targeting a command injection vulnerability (CVE-2007-3010) in the HTTP management interface of Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server 7.1 and earlier. The exploit abuses the 'masterCGI' binary's 'ping' action, injecting shell metacharacters into the 'user' parameter of a GET request to /cgi-bin/masterCGI. This allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands as the 'httpd' user. The module only supports command-line payloads, as the httpd process terminates spawned shells after responding. The exploit is operational, requiring the target's HTTP(S) management interface to be accessible, and is implemented in Ruby as part of the Metasploit framework.
