rdp2tcp is an open-source TCP-tunneling utility that transports arbitrary TCP traffic through an already established Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) connection. It can be used to relay traffic and preserve remote access without creating an additional conspicuous externally listening port. NightEagle (APT-Q-95) used rdp2tcp with Microsoft Dev Tunnels and RDP during intrusions against Russian enterprises, including organizations in the manufacturing and construction sectors. This combination supported covert access and movement within Windows environments.

A publicly available tunneling utility used with Microsoft Dev Tunnels to maintain access to victim networks while avoiding additional exposed suspicious ports.
An open-source utility used to tunnel TCP traffic over an existing RDP session, enabling covert continued access without opening a conspicuous listening port.
A TCP tunneling utility with server and client components that tunnels traffic through an established RDP connection. NightEagle used it with Microsoft dev tunnels to expose and maintain RDP access while reducing the need for additional suspicious ports.
Инструмент туннелирования TCP-трафика через виртуальные каналы существующего RDP-сеанса. NightEagle использовала его совместно с Microsoft Dev Tunnels для сохранения доступа к скомпрометированной сети без открытия дополнительных подозрительных портов.
