About the Role
We're early, and that means one person who can both shape what we build and tell the world why it matters is worth more than two specialists who can't reach across the gap. This is a deliberately hybrid role. You'll sit at the seam between product and market, owning positioning, launches, and the feedback loop that runs from customers back into the roadmap.
Our platform uses AI to correlate thousands of cyber events and contextualize them to a customer's environment, so security teams go from signal to action without the operational grind. We're backed by Decibel Partners with participation from senior leaders at Google, Robinhood, Cisco, Fastly, and GreyNoise.
This is a leadership-track hire. We expect the right person to grow into our marketing leader as the company scales, building the team, the function, and the go-to-market engine from the ground up. We're hiring for the trajectory, not just the first twelve months.
What You'll Do
- Own positioning and messaging for a proactive cyber risk platform: who it's for, the problem it solves, and why security teams choose it
- Lead go-to-market for launches end to end, including tiering, messaging, sales enablement, content, and measurement
- Run competitive intelligence and turn it into battlecards, differentiation, and roadmap input
- Act as the voice of the market inside product, synthesizing customer signals, win/loss, and usage into prioritized roadmap input
- Partner with engineering and design on requirements for the features that most affect adoption and differentiation
- Build founder and sales enablement: demo narratives, one-pagers, and objection handling that sharpen every customer conversation
- Own the highest-leverage content (website, launch content, customer stories) and direct outside help on the rest
- Define and report the metrics that matter at our stage: pipeline influence, activation, message resonance, and launch impact
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years across product marketing and product management, ideally with real overlap between the two
- Shipped and launched B2B SaaS products, ideally for technical buyers in security, developer, or data tooling
- Track record of positioning that a sales team and a website both actually used
- Comfort with technical subject matter: you can get to the substance of the product and translate it for CISOs, analysts, and engineers
- Startup range: equally happy writing the messaging doc and rolling it out yourself, with low ego and high ownership
- Evidence of, or clear ambition for, growing into marketing leadership
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with security buyers (CISO, SOC manager, CTI analyst, detection engineer) and the channels that reach them
- Experience as an early marketing hire or standing up a marketing function from scratch
- Experience with product-led growth or hybrid PLG and sales motions
Where This Role Goes
In your first six to twelve months you'll prove the go-to-market motion largely as an individual contributor: a positioning framework the whole company rallies behind, one launch run end to end on your plan, a working loop from the market into the product roadmap, and a clear point of view on our competitive differentiation.
As we scale, this role is the natural seed for our Head of Marketing. You'll define the function, make the early hires, and own the strategy. We'll be explicit with you about the milestones that unlock that growth.
