Harvesting Time is a previously unknown threat actor that emerged during the 2026 Iran war cyber campaign. It was identified alongside Golden Falcon as part of a shift from high-volume disruptive activity toward systematic reconnaissance and geolocated targeting support. The actor produced targeting packages covering sensitive infrastructure and military-related locations, including nuclear facilities, offshore gas platforms, military air bases, refineries, and individual-level location data across more than ten countries. This activity indicates a focus on intelligence collection and target development rather than overt disruption or ransomware operations. Based on observed behavior, Harvesting Time is associated with structured reconnaissance and the compilation of geospatially precise targeting information that could support follow-on cyber, physical, or hybrid operations. No high-confidence attribution to a specific state or country of origin is currently available.
